Tuesday Tennis Fit

Here's a little 'get to know me' post: I'm a big tennis player! I've played tennis since high school and recently got into a fun social league here in Raleigh. It's been a really great way to stay active and meet some new people with similar interests. I've always enjoyed tennis because it's essentially a whole body workout wrapped up into one game - you have your cardio, stretching, quick moves, muscle gaining, and more!

This whole tennis fit is from one of my favorite places, Target! I figure you can never go wrong with a classic black and white combo; if you want a pop of color, you can always add a cute hat, visor, or hair bow. If you're not a tennis player, no biggie, this would also be a great fit for pickleball, running errands, carpool, or a hike with friends. The materials of both pieces are light and flowy, perfect for those hot summer days ahead.

I cannot vouch enough for this skort - it is the best tennis skort I own and a new staple for me! The material is nice and stretchy, but also INCREDIBLY soft, I didn't feel like it was sticking to me in the heat at all. I'm wearing a size XS and I love the high slit for extra range of motion on the court.

If you're looking for a good white workout tank, this is the one for you! It's a light material and only slightly cropped for my girls that are, we'll say, no longer 22. An easy basic for a workout, tennis, or just doing chores around the house. I'm wearing a size XS.

If you're a tennis player, I will always swear by ASICS for court specific shoes, I think they're incredibly comfortable, they last forever and they're reasonably priced. If you know me, you know I love my pearls and I always think a nice dainty pair of pearls elevates any tennis fit and just add that little bit of class to your outfit. This set from Target is my go to for the court because if you lose one, you only spent $8 and you have the choice between several different sizes!
